Not by Faith
There is something to be said for effort. Effort is often the difference between what will happen and what will not happen. Faith may live in the hearts and minds of the ambitious, the loyal, and the obedient, but faith alone never outpaces effort. Many people remain faithful yet make little effort, spending years—even lifetimes—asking the same questions: How come? Why not me? When will it happen? More often than not, the missing piece is effort. The opportunities, growth, and results they hoped for were always within reach, but effort is the bridge that carries potential into reality.
Talent itself is rarely something people are simply born with; it is developed, refined, and strengthened through consistent work. Those who are crowned as leaders in their professions—the experts, innovators, and pioneers of their industries—did not arrive there by chance. Behind their recognition are countless hours of practice, persistence, and determination. What sets them apart is not luck or natural advantage, but the willingness to apply effort again and again when others stop. If there is a lesson in their success, it is this: put in the effort. With commitment and persistence, effort has the power to shape ability, open doors, and move you closer to the future you seek.
