the parachute is never perfect

just Jump

There was once a man who spent his whole life preparing for a jump he never made. He studied the winds, calculated the risks, and waited for the perfect parachute—one stitched with certainty, guarantees, and zero chance of failure. From the edge of the cliff, he watched others leap. Some soared, some stumbled, some even fell—but many learned to adjust midair, crafting their wings as they went. He shook his head at their recklessness. “I’ll jump when I’m ready,” he told himself, clutching blueprints for a parachute that was never quite finished.

Years passed, and the cliff grew quiet. One day, with the sun setting behind him, he realized the truth: there was no perfect parachute, only the courage to jump and the will to figure it out on the way down. Life had never been about eliminating the fall—it was about embracing it. And though his legs trembled, he finally stepped forward, not because he had everything in place, but because he understood that waiting for certainty was the only sure way to never truly live.
