The story of the journey is never the same as the story of the destination. Many people admire and chase the destination, imagining it as something glorious, filled with grandeur and peace of mind. That vision can be so appealing that it overshadows the reality of what it takes to get there.

Because of this, many who begin the journey end up quitting. They never fully see—or prepare for—the steps, the effort, the stumbles, and the resilience required to start, continue, and ultimately finish. In the end, the story of someone who quits is rarely as compelling as the story of someone who endures and sees it through.
